Advisory Council for Participation and Integration Spandau

The District Advisory Council for Participation and Integration presents its suggestions, recommendations and statements to the borough assembly (BVV) responsible for migrant issues (Integration Committee), which addresses the topics and, if necessary, formulates assignments for the district office.

The groups and institutions active in migrant work in Spandau as well as the various nationalities are represented on the District Advisory Council for Participation and Integration. The members are appointed by the district office for the duration of an election period on the basis of a resolution of the borough assembly (BVV). The appointed groups/institutions are represented by one member each. The Participation and Integration Officer and the Office attend the meetings of the Participation and Integration Advisory Council in an advisory capacity. Parties cannot appoint voting members to the Advisory Council. The parties that are represented in the borough assembly (BVV) may attend the Advisory Council meetings in an advisory capacity through a representative.

The meetings always take place on the first Tuesday of every month.
